Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis yesterday commended the local government of Quezon, Bukidnon, led by Mayor Gregorio LL. A CHALLENGE FOR THE COMMUNITIES to take the struggle against child labor as their own struggle is sweeping the province of Quezon. After the successful launched of the action programme Child Labor Monitoring and Integrated Services Delivery System in six barangays of Catanauan, it’s the turn of the communities of City of Lucena to respond to the challenge as they launched CLM-ISDS in five barangays last July 25, 2012 in an assembly held at the Cultural Hall of Latter Day Saint, Lucena City. More than 200 people who participated in the launched collectively sent a strong message: “Together, let’s End Child Labor in our Communities Now!”
