12 Government Agencies sign the Joint Memorandum Circular on HELP ME Convergence Program

The ceremonial signing of the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) on Guidelines on the implementation of HELP ME Convergence Program to Address Child Labor was held on 7 January 2016 at the NEDA Conference Room, Pasig City during the Joint Meeting of the Human Development and Poverty Reduction Cabinet Cluster and the NEDA Board - Social Development Committee.

The ceremonial signing of the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) on Guidelines on the implementation of HELP ME Convergence Program to Address Child Labor was held on 7 January 2016 at the NEDA Conference Room, Pasig City during the Joint Meeting of the Human Development and Poverty Reduction Cabinet Cluster and the NEDA Board - Social Development Committee.

The HELP ME Convergence Program aims to implement a sustainable and responsive convergence program to address child labor in the Philippines by providing community-based, focused, converged, and synchronized strategies to effectively address the child labor problem. The JMC serves as the basis of engagement of partner government agencies in the convergence of delivery of services in the implementation of the HELP ME Convergence Program, from the national and sub-national levels down to the barangay level.

Signatories to the JMC are the heads of DOLE, DSWD, DepEd, DOH, DILG, DA, DOJ, TESDA, NEDA, CWC, PIA, and NCIP.
